Steam loco
2001
"Home-made" construction from 1998 to 2001 to the model of a Blanc-Misseron locomotive of the Tramways de la Sarthe (France). The engine is a 2-cylinder steam motor from a 141 R American-French war locomotive.
Boiler built by Dupuis & Co in Mönchengladbach (Germany) to plans drawn by Andreas Scholz
volume: 49 litres
steam production: 40 litres/h
pressure: 10 bars
heating suface: 1 m²
Weight of the loco: 1280 kg
Service weight: 1450 kg
Overall length: 2,50 m
1st service: May 21st, 2001

Gmeinder 4460
1948
Bought in 1983 from the ancient tileworks in Murr as the MSGB's first loco.
Original 1-cylinder 12 HP Kaelble Diesel engine, no electric equipment.
3 gears and reverse, monodisc clutch operated by a pedal.
Weight 3,2 t
This loco had rather suffered from hauling heavily loaded dumpers between the clay-pit and the factory. All 4 wheels were worn out by more than a centimeter and had to be reprofiled in order not to damage the points of my layout. At the same time the "cabriolet" got a simple roof and a vertical exhaust.
The engine leaks a bit and the pinions of the chain-drive should be renewed.

Diema 833
type DL 12
1937
Weight 2,2 t
2-cylinder Deutz Diesel engine (replaced)
3 gears and reverse, plate-clutch operated by horizontal handwheel.
Front-axle driven by a cardan shaft
In 1989 I exchanged this ready-to run loco for a scrap O&K, but I had to rebuild it to its original shape, i.e. overhauling the electric wiring and removing a huge ballast-box added at the front and putting the rear end back onto the frame so that the coupling hooks could be used properly.

O&K 9798
1939
Weight: 2,5 t
Original 12 HP 1-cylinder Diesel engine
3 gears with cone clutches operated by handwheel
I bought this loco in 1989 together with an other but almost scrapped one from Kiener's sandworks in Goldshöfe near Ellwangen. Sand had to be removed from the gearbox and a damage done by frost on the cylinder mended. I also fixed a vertical heat-protected exhaust pipe

O&K 8375
1934 (?)
Nearly the same model as O&K 9798, but with a flat belt drive of the ventilator. The loco has large spring-loaded bumpers. The lever for the 3rd gear is missing.
The original plates in French indicate that this loco was part of a command by a French retailer, probably in Paris. Nothing is known about where this loco worked. My friend Bernard Bommert in Le Mans bought it from a scrapyard in the 1970s, overhauled it for service on his "TVE" in Etival and the "Petit Train de Semur-en-Vallon". Here I drove it when I visited Bernard for the first time in 1982.
In 2005 he exchanged it for a Decauville TMB which I had stored at his TVE

Railcar
2011
Number of seats: 12 - 14
Overall length: 5,60 m
Length of body: 5,00 m
Weight: 1320 kg
3-cylinder 45 HP Kubota engine D 722
Hydrostatic drive of the motors (1 per boggie)
Electric command by a control panel which can be fixed in either cabin
(planned and realized by Ludwig Rommel)
Particularity: Remote control panel
To date, the railcar is functional but not finished.
